Over time, as the needs of her clients have changed, she has adapted to those changes by increasing the size of her team.

She has learned that to be responsive, she really needed a hearty support system to accomplish the daily tasks. She went from being a single agent in 2001 to leading a team of seven in 2007. Joy states that “one of the best decisions I made was to create a partnership with my husband, Ray”. Ray is the broker owner of Rice Capital Mortgage. The partnership has allowed them to seamlessly work with clients and get them to closing as quickly and with as little out-of-pocket expenses as possible.
