Real Estate News for Dallas Texas | Bloom Where You’re Planted
Since you ask, I reckon I must tell if you sit a spell. Growing up in Texas, my mother always told me, “Bloom where you’re planted”. In other words, be happy wherever you are. Throughout my life that has been my motto that I live by.
Now back to reality, I mean back to real estate, which, by the way, is my reality. Before I decided to follow my heart and pursue a career in real estate, I was caught up in the whole corporate culture and ladder climbing. My former telecommunications career was rewarding financially, but it left me with such an empty feeling at the end of the day that I knew I had to break free of that way of life.
At the time, I had just moved to the Flower Mound, Texas area. This is a fast-growing suburban city located in the heart of Dallas. Nonetheless, I just wasn’t blooming where I was planted! My petals were dying on the vine, and the nagging questions kept coming.
“Am I enhancing anyone’s life or financial stability? Am I heeling the sick? Am I feeding the hungry? No!” Much to my chagrin, I wasn’t contributing to society in any way. At this realization, I made some monumental changes in a drastic way that would change the course of my life forever.
I had already bought two houses before I finally made my leap of faith. Through the trials and tribulations of each personal home buying transaction, I learned that I would treat each and every home seller and home buyer with the most supreme amount of care. I also committed to watching out for my client’s bottom line as much as my very own.
Conducting my business with a high level of honesty, integrity, knowledge, and professionalism has helped me to increase my business exponentially every year. I am now able to bloom right where I am planted.
